At Optimum Rehab Inc. Therapy Services include treatment for the following areas:

Speech/Sound Disorders/Delays such as Apraxia of Speech, Articulation Disorders/Delays, Phonological Disorder/Delays, and overall speech intelligibility. This may also include areas of fluency and voice patterns as well.
Language Disorders/Delays such as difficulty with language development in either receptive or expressive language and/or both, social skills/pragmatic abilities and/or play skills, auditory processing, cognitive impairment, hearing impairment, PDD/Autism, and reading/literacy.

Feeding/Oral Motor concerns such as tongue thrust, weakness in the oral cavity, low muscle tone, sensory disorders with textures/taste, etc.

An early start to speech and language therapy is always best! We treat children from birth to three years of age (Early Intervention) as well as toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children.

In our friendly and playful environment, we offer comprehensive speech and language assessments which are performed to determine whether or not communication skills are developing typically, and whether or not professional intervention is warranted.

Pediatric speech and language therapy involves assessing and treating a child’s communication skills. These skills include speech, language, play, and general interaction development. The focus of treatment may be on oral-motor skills, stuttering, tongue thrust, voice, language, articulation, or augmentative communication.
